Terms of use
Last updated: 2 November 2026
1. Acceptance
By using ToolDeck, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. What the service is
ToolDeck provides free utilities that run entirely in your browser. There is no server-side processing of tool input. The service is provided free of charge and may be funded by advertising.
3. No account required
All tools are available without an account. Optional accounts exist only to sync favourites and saved presets. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service for unlawful purposes or to infringe others' rights;
- attempt to disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the service;
- use generated output to deceive, defraud or impersonate a person or organisation;
- use automated means to scrape or resell the service.
5. Your content
You retain all rights to the files and text you process. Because processing happens locally, we never receive a copy and claim no licence over it. You are responsible for having the right to process the material you use.
6. Accuracy and no warranty
The tools are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. Calculations, conversions and generated output may contain errors. Always verify results before relying on them for financial, legal, medical or safety-critical decisions.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ToolDeck is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or business opportunities arising from use of the service. Because files never leave your browser, you are responsible for keeping your own backups.
8. Availability and changes
We may add, modify or remove tools at any time. The service may be unavailable during maintenance or due to factors outside our control. No availability guarantee is provided.
9. Intellectual property
The site design, branding and original content are owned by ToolDeck. Open-source libraries used by individual tools remain under their respective licences. You may use the output you generate freely, including commercially.
10. Ads
Pages may display advertising. Ad blockers do not restrict access to tools. Attempting to manipulate ad delivery or click activity is prohibited.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the operator's place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
